The 1x3x10 writing activity is a great way to have fun with students while teaching them how to write quickly. The goal of this activity is to have students write a full essay that is organized and developed in a very short amount of time.

What we are doing here is "gamifying" timed writing. We want students to practice writing under pressure but in a fun, risk-free environment. The main goal of this activity is to develop students' writing fluency.
