In the New York Times article, "Eugenia Cheng Makes Math a Piece of Cake" by Natalie Angier, Angier describes how Cheng integrates mathematical concepts into cooking.

In a small group, summarize Cheng's main ideas about how to make math more tangible and relatable in this article. Describe the key evidence (or details) the author uses to inform his/her readers. Discuss the author's purpose for writing the text and identify the intended audience. Be ready to share your ideas with the rest of the class.
