How Tough Are Your Texts

LiteracyTA has made it easy for educators to measure text complexity through four characteristics: vocabulary, text structure, your students' knowledge of a subject, and the overall length of a text. Essentially, these four areas is what reading Lexile takes into account when assigning a level of difficulty to a text.
