Every day, we go to work thinking about our family of inspired educators. We focus on building the best tools and resources for them and their students. We also think about what our teachers need and how we can best support them.
This week, we have updated the Skill Library with new features and made it easier for teachers to find what they need.
This year, LiteracyTA is focused on building additional support materials for K-5 students and teachers. Lauren Garrison and Katie Krumenacker, two exceptional elementary school teachers at Adobe Bluffs Elementary School in the Poway District, collaborated with LiteracyTA to produce vertically aligned reading and writing processes from Kindergarten to the twelfth grade.
It has been a while since we have announced the release of new skills and activities on TA (Teacher Assistant), our online teacher resource. We apologize for not announcing these new materials earlier. I think part of the fun of having a membership to TA is all the new stuff that is created. If you look hard enough, you might find something new every time you visit literacyta.com.
Educators, now is the time to register for our first annual LiteracyTA University hosted at San Diego State University's Alumni Center. Come join the fun and learn with teachers from all over the world.
This week, LiteracyTA released Literacy sTArs--our newest Literacy Skills Activity book. Literacy sTArs is written for young students grades 2-3. It has practical skills and activities for both fiction and non-fiction texts. We are very excited about this activity book. The cover is fun and colorful, making it more inviting and interesting for students.
LiteracyTA's eCoach motivates you with weekly articles on best practices for teaching students how to read, speak, and write about texts. Stay connected to the team. Get inspired. Learn, grow, and achieve with eCoach.
