Just What You Needed: A Bigger Workspace

By on March 6, 2017

Our Assessment Tool and Marking Tool™ question type help teachers better understand their students' reading abilities. Students enjoy our formative assessments, and teachers like how easy they are to create. We know, however, that the intuitive platform can get better. Over the past few months, teachers and students in all grade levels have been providing excellent feedback to help us improve. This week, we updated the Text/Media field.

More room. More tools for editing. Overall, a more efficient workspace.

Click of the editing pencil and watch the student view transform into the teacher view, making it very easy for teachers to write and edit questions and text. This new expanded workspace gives teachers the room they need to quickly build formative assessments for their students.

Once the text is in, teachers use the Marking Tool™ to mark (or lock in) the answer. Click "Save." Click the X at the top right to flip back to the student view.

We will keep you posted about new and exciting updates as they happen. Please continue to let us know how we can make our Assessment Tool better for you and your students.

Literacy Standards In Action

We've mapped our literacy lessons and reading, speaking, and writing skills to state standards, Common Core, and NGSS. The standards are "the what" to teach. Our lessons are "the how" to meet the expectations defined by the standards. Click on the links below to view our quick reference table that maps standards to literacy lessons.
