Faster, Better, Clearer: LTA Toolkit Pro

By on April 24, 2017

We are honored to offer amazing tools and resources for teachers all over the world, and we work everyday to make sure our Toolkit members can quickly get what they need. We are happy to announce a new update to the LTA Toolkit Pro page. The purpose of this eCoach is to explain each new section so that our members are familiar with the new design and features.

Most Popular

At the top of the page we offer a "Most Popular" section. Here, Pro members can jump to the LTA Classroom and build or assign assessments, or they can search skills and activities that are aligned to their state standards. Pro Members are also one click away from accessing reading, speaking, and writing skills and lessons.

Planning Tools and Lessons

Moving down the page, members will find the Planning and and lessons section. Here, we connect our Pro members to our Digital Lesson Planner and shared lessons.

9 Essential Literacy Skills

Next, we highlight essential skills that can move all students forward with reading, speaking, and writing. We have well over 60 skills in our library, so we pulled out 9 powerful skills that when taught consistently during the school year will increase students' performance.

Tutorials

Lastly, we offer a growing number of video tutorials for navigating the Toolkit, setting up your LTA Classroom, building formative assessments, and more. When Pro members click on the banner you will be taken to LiteracyTA's YouTube channel.

Literacy Standards In Action

We've mapped our literacy lessons and reading, speaking, and writing skills to state standards, Common Core, and NGSS. The standards are "the what" to teach. Our lessons are "the how" to meet the expectations defined by the standards. Click on the links below to view our quick reference table that maps standards to literacy lessons.
