Add LiteracyTA to Your Mobile Device

By on May 27, 2013

We do so much on our mobile devices these days that they have become our secondary computers. We use our phones and tablets for fun, to reference information, and do work related tasks like check email and create documents. Some educators are using their mobile devices to teach lessons in the classroom. Because we are so active on our mobile devices, LiteracyTA decided to make an icon for your mobile devices so that you can get to our resources quickly. LiteracyTA.com is optimized for mobile devices. You're going to like what you see.

Here are the steps. On your mobile device (iPhone or iPad) go to your favorite LiteracyTA page.

At the top of the screen, you will see a reply or send icon. Click on it.

You will see our LiteracyTA "Add to Home Screen" icon. Click on it.

You now have your very own app style link to LiteracyTA's powerful literacy resources.

If you want to teach right from your mobile devices (iPhone or iPad), you will need Apple TV or the Reflector App.

Let us know how it goes. Share your stories with us in our comment box below. Good luck and have fun with your new icon.

Literacy Standards In Action

We've mapped our literacy lessons and reading, speaking, and writing skills to state standards, Common Core, and NGSS. The standards are "the what" to teach. Our lessons are "the how" to meet the expectations defined by the standards. Click on the links below to view our quick reference table that maps standards to literacy lessons.
