50 Writing Prompts for Grades 6-12

By on June 8, 2019

As we prepare for testing season, we want our students writing. Everyday, students should practice getting their ideas out on paper. To help middle and high school teachers, we have developed this classroom-ready presentation that offers argumentative, informative, and narrative writing topics. We are reposting this presentation because it now boasts 50 topics! We recently added 35 prompts. Check it out. I am sure you will love it as much as we do!

Present this Google Slide presentation in your classroom or copy and paste the slides into your own Google Slide presentations.

Literacy Standards In Action

We've mapped our literacy lessons and reading, speaking, and writing skills to state standards, Common Core, and NGSS. The standards are "the what" to teach. Our lessons are "the how" to meet the expectations defined by the standards. Click on the links below to view our quick reference table that maps standards to literacy lessons.
