Common Core English Lesson Plans
Teachers of English (grades 3-12) are helping build a library of Common Core aligned English lesson plans that educators can use to teach College and Career Readiness standards. The English lesson plans, created in our Skill-Based Lesson Planner, are designed to teach high-level literacy skills for fiction and non-fiction texts and promote critical and analytical thinking skills.
To get started, select an English lesson below. You will be taken to the lesson summary where you can learn more about the literacy standards and skills taught in the lesson. Any of our public lessons can be copied to your lesson plans and revised to fit your students’ needs.
